Katie Tudor, LMSW (she/her)

Katie is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Abilene Christian University. Katie is dedicated to supporting individuals and families through challenging life transitions. With a rich background in both the foster care system and the church setting, Katie brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and spiritual sensitivity to her practice.

Throughout her career, Katie has been deeply involved in the foster care system, working to advocate for the well-being of vulnerable children and adolescents. She has served as a case manager for a child-placing agency for three years, offering individual and family counseling to address trauma, attachment types and emotional regulation. Katie has also collaborated closely with foster parents, social workers and other professionals to create supportive environments which promote healing and stability for children in care.

In addition to her work in the foster care system, Katie has provided pastoral counseling while working with college students. Drawing on her background in social work and her own spiritual values, she offers compassionate support to individuals and families facing a wide range of challenges, including grief, relationship conflicts, and spiritual crisis. Katie integrates various modalities and theology to help clients find meaning, hope, and resilience in the midst of adversity.

Katie’s therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity and cultural humility. She strongly believes in trauma-informed care along with a person-centered approach. She creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences with honesty and openness. Katie utilizes a strengths-based perspective, empowering clients to build on their existing resources and develop practical skills for coping with life's difficulties.

Katie is deeply passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with resilience, courage and grace. Through her clinical expertise and welcoming presence, she seeks to empower her clients to discover their innate strengths and live lives of purpose and fulfillment. Most importantly, Katie is excited to meet and partner with YOU, wherever you are on your mental health journey!

In her free time, Katie loves grabbing coffee with friends and exploring fun places in Austin. She loves having a balance of staying active and going on hikes and runs, as well as relaxing by reading a good book or playing chess.
